From a member's perspective, what's the best thing about Action Down? It's a blast! We have a great time. Each of us brings not only his musical influences & talents, but also personality and sense of humor. We all share the same energy and passion for the music and we love to have fun... and that's what we do! What are the band's main musical influences? That's kinda tough to nail down.  There are so many great bands and players and we've learned something from so many of them. It just comes out a little here, a little there and makes us who we are. If you could be any animal, what would it be? What!?! You guys have a reputation for having a huge repertoire. How long is your songlist? I guess we know roughly 250 songs as a group, including several originals, but a typical performance consists of 4 sets with about 12-14 songs per set... so we usually do about 50 songs at a gig. How far is the band willing to travel to perform? We're totally geared-up and ready to hit the road. We're equipped for any venue really. Our local show area is within 6 hours of Ventura, but we can and will play anywhere in the world (except Iran).
